The Hummingbird Diagnostics GmbH (HBDx; formerly known as Comprehensive Biomarker Center) located in Heidelberg, Germany, discovers, validates and analyzes genomic biomarkers with a focus on body fluid samples, like whole blood (PAXgene), serum, plasma (Exosomes), urine, and CSF. The HBDx-Team has already identified biomarker signatures for more than 40 different diseases in a total of > 300 studies and > 4.000 samples.

With HBDx’s proven expertise in biomarker signature development the Center is an ideal partner for biomarker studies from peripheral body fluids. HBDx offers NGS-, Array-, qPCR- and Multibead-Platforms as well as sophisticated bioinformatics and standardized protocols for RNA & DNA isolation from body fluids.
